Fitness was introduced to me in high school as I played water polo and got fairly competitive down in South Florida. I didn’t tap back into fitness until I entered recovery from mood and mind altering substances. It’s been a wild ride so far. I got heavy into hot power yoga and still love this practice, I have been teaching full-time since 2019, in the yoga studio setting as well in the Seminole County Correctional Facility. I entered into CrossFit in 2020 and attended regularly through 2021. I’ve competed at the Bacon Beatdown in 2021 and this was probably the most pivotal and impactful experience I’ve had within the culture of CrossFit. I’m always looking for more opportunities to improve and add to my skillset.
My turning point happens every day when i get out of bed. I’m faced with decisions and situations that I’m very aware will either take me to my next level, or set me back to a previous one, or worse, a new one. I try to live by the motto “be in the solution” and every day there are amole opportunities to do the next right thing and let the next right thing happen as a result. I love what I do and I love the life I’ve humbly created for myself here, both in and out of the gym.
My passion for coaching is witnessing growth, and being the observer for the lightbulb moments for people trying to learn something that will improve their lives forever. Since starting my journey with CrossFit, I have gotten used to being surrounded by people who push me because they want to see me do things I didn’t believe were possible for myself. I want to be that for others, too.
