Q&A With Bob Harper of The Biggest Loser

 

Members: A few quick points of address:

1) Lately there has been an overwhelming failure of adherence to Rule #3 (Clean Up After Yourself). We the staff are finding ourselves having to throw away dozens of water cups, numerous plastic water bottles and random trash on a daily basis. We love each of you but we’re not a full-time maid service. Everyone should be able to clean up after themselves. Leaving the work for us is a little…inconsiderate. If you could please be more mindful of this it would be greatly appreciated. Give a hoot, don’t pollute.

2) Some of you are still not utilizing the kiosk (laptop next to he refrigerator) to sign-in before classes (or at the very least before you leave for the day). This is an absolute MUST, no two ways about it. From this point on please use the kiosk to sign-in or…something very bad is going to happen.

3) The newly acquired 15# bumper plates are strictly reserved for use by ladies first unless you are specifically given the OK to load them on your bar. These plates were purchased to make loading weights up easier for the ladies of eXalted. We hope to add some more down the line but for now we have only a few.

    This video is awesome! I have a guy who was over 400lbs, he’s now down to 260 and got his first full depth, BELOW PARALLEL, squat yesterday… In an overhead squat of all positions! He was so excited! So was I!
    I love this video!

  • warmed up w/ some C&J and Snatch Balance (which really sucks at 5:15am btw)

    Broad Jumps – 12, I haven’t ran since November, I think I might try some short light runs again dependent on my recovery from this
    HSPU – 24 (missed my goal by 1)
    MU – 19 (missed my goal by 1 again)

  • Broad Jumps – this is a bit sexist, no??? 7 + 28′
    HSPU: 25 (1 abmat)
    MU: 20 – (Ring push-ups)
