New member Bret warming up for last week’s pistols by learning the Bulgarian Split Squat. Great accessory movement to any squat cycle. Especially if you need to correct any strength imbalances.

Power Snatch
Find your 3 rep max.
This will be done in a “3 position” format.

Power position + from the ground, halt below the knee for 2 seconds + from the ground with no halt (normal power snatch)

You will pause for 2 seconds in the catch position of each repetition.

Workout of the Day
3 rounds for time:
80 double-unders
400 meter run
20 clean and jerks (115/83)

Rest 2 minutes in between rounds.

If you break the double-unders or clean and jerks, perform 5 burpees as a penalty. If you foresee yourself breaking the double-unders quite a bit, just perform 10 burpees to start each round. Scale the clean and jerks to hurt, but you should be able to dig nice and deep and get those unbroken every round.
