Handstand holds! If you want to get better at handstands, it is better to do them facing the wall so you can control how vertical you get. Also, facing the wall mimics the hollow position you must maintain during a free standing handstand much better than just kicking up does. Your body’s position when you simply kick up into a handstand against the wall is actually a very poor position for a freestanding handstand.
