New member Viv doing her best to stay a young 63! Research has presented overwhelming evidence the single best form of exercise for women to help prevent osteoporosis and sarcopenia is WEIGHT TRAINING.  Lifting weights becomes MORE important as we age not LESS important. Resistance training has shown to lead to less overall bodyfat, higher bone density, higher lean body mass, and an overall improved quality of life.
