Despite a modest frame of only 5 feet, 3 inches and 118 pounds, Christmas Abbott boasts quite a body of work. A business owner, CrossFit competitor, Olympic Lifter, Head Trainer and most recently a NASCAR pit crew front tire changer, Christmas displays a balancing act that a few could execute with such charisma.

  • Christmas Abbott is coming to CrossFit eXalted on February 23rd!  This will be her one and only Central Florida stop for her workshop!  This workshop is open to anyone and you can find out how to register by clicking here.
  • The refrigerator as been replaced!  We have Dex to thank for the replacement and it seems to be working fine so far.  
  • The check-in kiosk has also been replaced, please make sure and check in especially if you are on a 3 times a week membership.

Strength/Skill
EMOM for 12 minutes:
Every odd minute, perform 5 TnG deadlifts at 75% of 1RM.
Every even minute, perform as many handstand push-ups as possible in one unbroken set.

If you are good at HSPU, do them from a deficit. Doing as many as possible strict and then switching to kip is encouraged. Your score is total HSPU performed. Don’t go until failure until the last two rounds.

Workout of the Day
For time:
100 Thrusters (Rx is 95/63, Rx+ is 115/83)
Every time you break, perform 30 double-unders.

There is absolutely no resting during the thrusters, as soon as you stop moving, that set is broken. I.e. resting in the front rack is not allowed.
